in #indonesia7 years ago

Steemers, The camera has been around since Indonesia is still colonized, only the resulting photo has a black and white color only, not colored like the photos of today. Black and white photos give the impression less clear and less good to see and seem less life than the color photos.

On the internet, we can find a lot of black and white photos of Indonesia past. When converted into color, we can feel a bit of the atmosphere of Indonesia in the past just from just looking at photos only.

Twitter account tukangpulas is able to change the black and white photographs in ancient Indonesia become color photos. The result is amazing, it turns out Indonesia in the past not less beautiful than now. Here's the preview:

#1. Bung Karno, the proclaimer of Indonesian independence and the first President of the Republic of Indonesia.

#2. P.N Nindya Karja Office at Nusantara Street which is now Ir. H. Juanda Street, Central Jakarta, 1950.

#3. Braga Street, Bandung, 1930.

#4. Allied troops in front of Gedung Sate, Bandung, in 1947.

#5. Dutch troops in photos together while posing on a tank in the 1947s.

#6. The Dutch soldiers were listening to the street musicians in Tegal City, in 1947.

#7. The Dutch army was riding a pedicab in the Bogor area of 1948.

I've seen other colourised black and white photos too and adding colour to such photos makes a huge difference, it makes it easier to imagine yourself being in these places.

Seeing old, colored photos gives the impression that we are returning to the time when the photo was taken.
