Asinan Betawi
Not only the Bogor and Bandung areas are popular with processed pickles, Betawi people also have processed pickled food that has its own characteristics. Processed pickled is named Asinan Betawi, because it is in the process with a distinctive taste of Betawi society.
This Betawi sauce contains vegetables served with roasted peanuts, peanut sauce, krupuk, chili, and vinegar, this is what distinguishes Betawi pickles with other pickled especially in West Java. Because the form and the basic material that is not the same, but the naming of food with the word asinan indeed be the point of equation.
