Chili (Capsicum annum L.) is one of horticultural commodities menpunyai important role in human life, because other than as nutrition producer, as well as a mixture of food and medicine. In Indonesia chili pepper has an important economic value and occupy
second place after the beans.
Chili plants have stems that can be divided into 2 kinds namely main stem and branching (secondary rod). The main bar is brown green with a length of between 20-28 cm. Green branch with length between 5-7 cm. The leaves of this plant consist of pedestals, bones and leaf strands.
The length of the petiole between 2-5 cm, dark green. Sheets the lower leaves are bright green, while the top surface dark green. The leaves reach 10-15 cm long, 4-5 cm wide. Part tip and base of leaf tapered with edge of rat.
