Tahun 1942? Sebagian besar gamer NES tampaknya sudah pasti pernah mencicipi game NES yang membawa Anda pada pertempuran perang dunia kedua dengan musik ikonik memorable tersebut. Di tengah limitasi 8 bit NES yang lemah, Sky Destroyer hadir dengan perspektif tiga dimensi dimana Anda harus menembak jatuh pesawat yang terbang mendekati layar. Kerennya lagi? Ada perpindahan siang ke malam, lengkap dengan pertempuran boss dan aksi melemparkan torpedo ke kapal di game ini. Satu yang mungkin tidak anda sadari, Anda justru berperan sebagai “orang jahat” di Sky Destroyer. Benar sekali, pesawat yang Anda gunakan adalah pesawat milik tentara Jepang yang berusaha “membersihkan” udara dan laut dari pasukan sekutu yang selalu jadi protagonis. Versi hack dari game yang dibuat oleh Inventor ini dikenal dengan Sky Invader. Perbedaan antara versi asli dan versi hack adalah:
