Jeungki is a traditional tool made from the wood of choice found in the forests of Aceh, and used to pound or with the language of Aceh "Toep Teupong" rice, sago and so on.
Tens of years ago, jingki almost found in every house of the people of Aceh. The facility is usually busy used before the holy month of Ramdahan to process the flour as a cake when the Eid comes.
But along with the times, the people of Aceh who use jingki has started to decrease, only some residents in the village who still use the traditional tools.

People usually often make timphan cakes, keukarah, haleuwa, dodoi (dodol) as well as some other typical Aceh cakes with processed flour from traditional tools or jeungki.

using this tool is not easy, lots of energy drain, sweat and tired is certain. However, behind the fatigue when pounding rice or rice with jingki, it is stored a thick social value like togetherness among fellow citizens in the village.
that's my little story, if you like apvotes and follow me @farizqi
Thanks you.
