Arbab musical instrument comes from Nangroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD), this instrument consists of two parts, namely Arbabnya (parent instrument) and stroke (stryk stock) local language called Go Arab.
This instrument uses coconut shell material, goat skin, and wire. This musical instrument ever developed in Pidie, Aceh Besar and Aceh Barat. This item is shown at public festivities, such as people's entertainment, night markets, and so forth. This art is now rarely encountered, and is thought to have begun to extinct. This last art can be seen in the days of Dutch rule and Japanese occupation.
