The impact of India's elections has started to appear in thousands of miles away in Britain. In order to influence non-resident Indian voters and supporters, BJP and Congress Overseas Unions organized a car rally on Saturday. Hundreds of cars were included in the BJP rally, in which the party supporters wearing Namo Tshirt were sitting. Cars of this rally passed through London, Birmingham, Leicester, Manchester, Edinburgh and Newcastle.
While the Congress organization Indian Overseas Congress started in West London, car rallies ran in Birmingham, Coventry and Slough. Rally cars came to South-West London and stayed there.
BJP's unit president Kuldeep Shekhawat said that ten thousand Indians living in Britain participate in elections in India due to enthusiasm and activism. They will also play an important role in the election of this time for the strength of the team and strengthen the BJP in every way.
Kamalpreet Singh Dhaliwal, President of the party's car rally organizer, was very excited by the crowd of supporters in Birmingham. At the conclusion of the rally, in the West London meeting, the confidence of the Congress in the election of the Congress was assured. There was talk of joining Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi in the rally but it was later said that due to the busy preparations in the elections in India she could not take out the time for the event.
