History again gets re-written by a new discovery. Over the last decade we have seen the mainstream archaeological narrative get stumped by revelations or early than thought civilization remains popping up here and there. When Göbekli Tepe was excavated it was realized that it pre-dated any other monolithic culture remains by thousands of years.
Now, just off the coast of India in the Gulf of Cambay, a city 5 miles long and two miles wide has been discovered. Sitting under ~35 meters of sea water, the city pre-dates the oldest known remains in the India subcontinent by 5,000 years. Carbon dating of teeth, bones, sculptures, pottery, beads and sections of walls puts the lost civilization ruins ~9,500 years old.
It begs the question how many other lost and unknown civilizations are waiting to be discovered and the rock mainstream archaeological narrative further.
