T20 Series Went To India [India:2 - England:1] But England Bagged The ODI Series [England:2 - India:1]

India won T20 Series along with winning many hearts in England. But, they couldn't hold their nerve and lost the ODI Series 2-1 to England. England proved them decent, attacking, balanced and better team in all the departments compared to India and the ODI Series in their kitty is the end result.

Now, all eyes on the upcoming Test Series which is going to be started from August 01 2018. The first match will be played in Edgbaston, Birmingham.

All the best to both the teams and particularly to the Men in Blue. May the best team wins the series.

I guess test series will test the characters of both teams. Going into the test series, England have the momentum with them, but it won't be easy for them to beat India who are currently number 1 ranked test team.

Beating England in Tests in England won't be easy for Team India either. As you rightly said England will start the Test Series with the momentum they 've got from the recently concluded ODI Series. They'are all charged up and they are all up to throw a challenge before India.

Although both teams have got their issues to be solved. England need to find an opening partner of Cook. India on the other hand would be hoping both Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar get match-fit as soon as possible. It will be a tough fought battle I guess.

England's batting line-up in Test Match cricket is lacking confidence. If India can get on top of them early in the series it will put them in a good position

India possess a great pace bowling attack after a long time.Ishant Sharma also played county cricket recently. Meanwhile England rely too much on their skipper Joe Root and Cook. Their main concern would be to find an opening partner of Cook. Indian pacers will certainly make it difficult for the English batsmen to score.
