Hello my dear steemit friends.Hope you all are doing well.So friends today I thought of discussing about a very big topic.Poverty in India.Poverty is a significant issue in India, despite of a fastest growing country in the world and a sizable consumer in terms of economy,India is still a country below poverty. The world bank reviewed in may 2014 ,according to its calculation the world had 872.3 million people below the new Poverty line of which 179.6 million people lived in India.213.jpg
In other words,India with 17.5% of total world's population ,had 20.6% share of world's poorest people.58% of the total population were living on less than $3.10 per day. After India gained it's independence in 1947,mass deaths from famines were prevented.Rapid economic growth since 1991 ,has led to sharp reductions in extreme poverties in India. However those above Poverty line lives a fragile life.3243127_orig.jpg
India at present has a greater share of the poor around the world.High population growth rate is one of the major reasons of Poverty in India .High level of illiteracy, poor health care facilities and lack of access to financial resources are also the major reasons of Poverty in India.Apart from all these, skilled workers are paid very low inspite of their hard work they put daily.Poverty must be erased from India as every person has the right to live a healthy life.23poor-india6.jpg23poor-india2.jpg

Yes, though there is a lot of development in India, majority of poor people are the same. It still needs a honest ideas and implementation.

Corruption should be smashed.
Education should be provided for free or at cost of govt.
Employment should be increased like every post for every graduate.
Educators should be rewarded and praised instead of entertainers. They can do more for society.

Hope it will be changed.

Yeah....You are right.....Thank you for your vote

informative post @gurungboy
hope you will bring more to us in future...
great job

This is a very valuable post that brings to our notice the plight of poverty in India.Though India is a developing country and has made many improvements in various fields yet it is lacking in tackling poverty. I appeal to the government bodies and leaders to take the matter of poverty with great concern. This post deserves to be resteemed
