I enjoyed reading about your trip. All these little things, everyday descriptions - for me very interesting.

I learned that tea sounds about the same. :) In Russian tea - чай (chay).

We very like cucumbers also, many grow their in own gardens. But cucumbers are never sold peeled. Everyone cleans it himself. But more often eat it with a peel. And they also salt and marinate.

Sort:

Mostlt The cucumber are not sold peeled but just to make tye matter bit fast this particular vendor peeled it. Anyway it was fresh...and sweet to eat. We also love to have it direct from farmThanks @eto-ka glad you like all the train travel details. Indeed train travel in India have its own fun and enjoyment . chai wala ..the tea venodr is the most common vendor found on every train and in almost evry hour. People like to have tea..earlier they usedbto have earthen pots for tea..but now they are using paper cups.
