Apologies

First off, our apologies for not providing more updates more consistently. We have a lot going on here at HQ and we are trying to get everything more stable and consistent, so with that should come more consistency with the updates and posts for the INDEX.

Tokens

The Index has been consistently improving its positions with all the tokens contained within. We are steadily purchasing tokens and miners to improve both the rewards received as well as the overall value of the token. We are steadily improving the held amount/value of each token in order to bring a little more balance to the health of the token. We are always looking for new tokens to add to the Index and if you feel there is a token that is not in the Index that should be, send us a message on Discord at @cabljo.

Assets

A majority of the tokens held within the Index have assets that range from other tokens and miners to NFTs and Liquidity Pools. We are always looking for ways to improve the returns from each token via its held assets. Most recently we have been selling (trying to sell) Splinterlands NFTs in order to further invest those funds into the SPS holdings and Liquidity Pools within. As we see opportunities to invest, reinvest, or move assets around to better improve the returns, we will continue to make those moves as needed.

Website

We have made quite a number of improvements on the back end of the website including a dedicated witness node and account history node. These allow us to faster see and process all transactions on the Hive-Engine second layer. Currently we do not have plans to make these nodes public, but that can change if it is decided that is a direction that we want to go.

Staking

We have been looking into allowing staking of the INDEX token. The primary reason for this would be token security. If your tokens are staked and require a cool-down and your account becomes compromised, nobody will be able to instantly transfer your tokens out of your account. This gives you the time needed to recover your Hive account and not lose any INDEX tokens.

Other Improvements

We are always looking for ways to improve the token, how we present the token (website), and everything else contained within. We will continue to make improvements as they become advantageous and viable. If you see or find any improvement that you feel would be beneficial to the token, please contact us on Discord and we will see what we can do!
