Pray hark, treasured subscriber of the Aleksa brand! I have returned greater than ever with majestic designs before me. This year will see me perform a highly irrelevant task to many degrees of vacuous productivity: I shall endeavour to read and reproduce to you my musings on no less than three hundred and sixty five works of bookcraft in the year of our Lord two thousand and twenty. For any book review I publish, contact me personally for a facsimile re-print of the book which formally does not constitute piracy.
The first on my proverbial chopping block is a rather short series of pamphlets reaching no longer than 24,000 words in length by pen-name Barry Reid. They outline the key steps to securing personal freedom from big government, relying on various form of spycraft and lots of mail-forwarding services. The tips, although outdated in the US of A or Europe,
are an excellent tool for expats to the global south that want to keep their identities close-to-chest. Of course, I have no such plans and am merely reading the book for its novelty value as well as for my upcoming action-adventure comic book "Zack Danger".
The second book in the series, "Credit" is somewhat longer and focuses on the various ways the American credit system can be bent to fit one's designs, with some digressions into the job market and tax avoidance. Both are equally interesting from a fiction standpoint, although the plot and character development are left somewhat void.
Not the best novels I've read, but certainly informative.
