imageWhat is its meaning

On Sunday 21 November 2018, the Id-e-Milead-Nabi-Nabi will be celebrated across the country, which is a major festival of those who believe in Islam. The word is derived from Maulid, which means "birth" in Arabic. Thus in Arabic, 'Maulid-un-Nabi' means the birthday of Hazrat Muhammad. This festival is celebrated every year with 12 rabbi al-awwals. Meilad is considered to be the biggest celebration of followers of those prophets.

Somewhere happiness, somewhere weeds

Although there is no double opinion that this day is very important for the Muslim community, even after this there is a strange twist in this day. There are two different beliefs related to the Najal Eid-e-Milad-i-Nabi. This day dedicated to Prophet Hazrat Mohammad and his teachings is celebrated on many occasions as a birthday celebration of the Prophet and in some places as mourning day. Shia and Sunni two followers of Islam celebrate it in their own way.

Sunni celebration

It is said in the Quran that the birth of Hazrat Mohammad was according to the Islam calendar, on the 12th day of Rabi-ul-Awal month 570 CE in Makkah and the same Eid-e-Milad is called Maulid Mawlid, i.e. Prophet's Birthday . That is why people of Sunni community celebrate this day with great enthusiasm. They believe that on this day the doors of the gates are opened by listening to the teachings of the Prophet, so on this day religious meetings are organized from day to night.

Shia do weeds

The second Sun Sunni community celebrates this day differently. This community believes that it is the day of death of Hazrat Sahib, so they mourn throughout the month and on this day they mourn.

Last messenger

It is said that Allah gave the message of the Quran to Prophet Hazrat Muhammad by means of the angel Gabriel, and they were the last messengers of Allah. With this, he is also called the greatest Prophet. That is why Muslims remember them with a very respectable feeling. On the occasion of the Meilad-a-nabi, prayers of Prophet Mohammad are symbolized for his footprints. On this occasion, procession is taken out in their memory and night meetings are organized. On this day, with the conversion of the Qur'an, many people worship at Makka-Medina and various dargahs.
