My Thoughts:

My favourite token. I think this has the potential to do an Ethereum jump to $100 by mid-year. ICON is named the IBM of South Korea or the Ethereum of South Korea. This project has very big players backing it and has connections to banks, financial groups, government, universities and other big names in Korea. Their huge team has a number of experienced and respected players in blockchain. Their goal is to connect all the big sectors together through their technology uniting government, finance, health, insurance and education under 1 network.

This token has gained about 2 billion dollars in market cap within the last 2 weeks but I think there’s still plenty of room to grow. IF we speculate we know that Korea loves to buy crypto, we know that more than 50% of volume from the ripple pump recently was from them. They also pumped Dash and Bcash within the last 2 months. If this token was to be listed on an exchange I would think they would want to support a project of their own and buy it like crazy because it’s a hyper block chain meaning future Korean companies can launch their own ICO and blockchains once regulations are in place by the government.

The parent company of ICON was the first to introduce Ethereum and Ripple trading to Korea so they know what they are doing. They also own a crypto-exchange called Coinone so there is very good chances of it being listed on more Korean exchanges this year.

The connection with Woori Bank could also lead us to a Korean Won Pairing to buy directly with fiat and not with Bitcoin and this will make liquidity of outperforming many cryptos.
I hold 1/3 of my portfolio in ICX. I speculate by end of the year we could see this at $25+ billion cap (10x)

Potential Growth:

Hold 10%-30% of portfolio. Very speculative bet but by the looks of their team and backing we should see at least a x3 by mid-year.

After their mainnet was delayed they decided to launch it later this month. This is a actually a good thing because it would allow them time to market their summit and products to get hype and attract more high valued investors. After this summit there will be no turning back and institutional money will start pouring in shortly after.
