The global ICO trends and the experience of companies' enormous success in attracting significant investment funds through crypto currency emissions do not leave a chance for new projects - their founders seek to try "financial happiness" on platforms for Sales of their own coins.
One example is the Canadian social platform for messaging «Kik». Since 2009 the project has been known among 15 million users in the United States and Canada, but today the ambition of developers is to announce their project on the world stage. Meanwhile, the "coins" called ERC20, implemented during an early ICO, are going to be made the most wide-spread and used crypto currency in the world.
At the same time, a well-known businessman and creator of file Kim Dotcom published a post on Twitter to launch ICO for his project Bitcache. In addition to willingness to be in the trend, the use of crowdfunding with ICO in the case of "Dotcom" has political reasons: it has had to contend with the pressure of political structures and attracting funds from private investors excludes political moment. Thus, even projects that do not get approval from the top can be supported by the crypto currency of private investors.
Despite the absence of political subtexts, the Russian project Teleport turned to crowdfunding. To date, its founders have been conducting pre-ICO, releasing 21 million tokens that are available for purchase to both private investors and large players in the form of cellular communications operators. The purpose for which the founders attract investment is the "Silk Road of Communication", which will connect Europe, Russia, and China with an unlimited internet at high speed. All investors voting for a project on the StartICO.net platform with bitcoin, ether, dollar or euro will be able to use its services on more advantageous terms or multiply their investments in 2.5 years. ICO in which the organizers plan to attract funds for construction of almost 13,000 kilometres of highways will last until 27 October.
