Peer-to-Peer Decentralized Sex via The Blockchain
Lustcoin is the first attempt to create a decentralized sex marketplace. Its goal is to enable all human beings to find sexual partners anonymously using blockchain technology.
Pimps and Madames are "Middlemen"
Lustcoin claims their platform is not illegal anywhere in the world. So, just as when you need an uber, you could find a sex partner perhaps within an hour once the platform is fully populated with sex workers and customers. As Uber populated in various parts of the world, wait times were reduced to typically a few minutes or less.
Sex Airbnb (or Sexbnb?)
This concept could be compared to a sex airbnb where instead of renting out your home you rent out your body. Or how about a sex uber where instead of drivers and riders, there are prostitutes and johns.
Anonymity
The Lustcoin portal is uses Ethereum addresses instead of IP addresses for anonymity and security.
Huge Market
The sex industry market worldwide is $186 billion according to a recent study by Havocscope.
Reduced Violence & Theft
Around 58% of prostitutes in the US have reported a violent assault at the hands of their clients. Lustcoin's transparent feedback system for both workers and clients should greatly reduce fraud and violence. Airbnb uses reviews and ratings while Uber uses ratings for both drivers and passengers. Lustcoin aims to do the same.
Lustcoin would use such methods to greatly reduce violence towards sex workers without compromising the anonymity of each person. Anonymity would be accomplished with its built-in Tor functionality.
According to research, around 15% clients end up getting robbed or threatened by a sex worker at least once. To avoid this, while maintaining trust and transparency, Lustcoin ensures that most transactions go through the escrow system with regular feedback.
Smart Contracts
Agreements held in escrow are made via smart contracts.
Geographic Targets
Lustcoin will first target European markets as the continent is progressive. Then in 2018, the Asian countries will be next.
Final Thoughts
Why not create a decentralized marketplace for dating as well? Or for friendships? Imagine a future where all willing participants have their bio along with interests in various categories just like on many matchmaking sites. But instead of the matchmaking site acting as the middleman, it would be decentralized p2p interaction between anyone looking for a specific type of friend or boyfriend or girlfriend or sexfriend.
While some may blanch at this, we all rank and rate others whether we know it or not. Putting a rating and a review on an item happens all the time on Amazon.com. Worker reviews happen all the time in workplaces.
Using a highly reliable mathematical method employed by one of the most successful hedge fund managers in the world, Ray Dalio, is a highly efficient way to optimize not just one's workers but also one's friends and lovers.
Ultimately, we will all be ranked and rated just like on the Twilight Zone-esque hit show Black Mirror. The episode"Nosedive" shows how social-media rules everyone's lives in this portrayal of perhaps the not-so-distant-future. Humanity is moving into a brave new world with blockchain.
