Parsec Frontiers ICO (Pre-Sale) Review

I would like to share a brief review on an ICO that I believe has high potential. As of writing this, Parsec Frontiers is in its Pre-Sale stage with a little more than a day remaining.

I have personally always been interested in space exploration games, such as Eve Online, Homeworld, Star Wars, and Star Citizen to name of few. While all of these were fun to varying extents, I never found them interesting long-term.

The closest one to the space exploration experience I was looking for was Eve Online. While it had its own economy, and open-ended missions to some extent, I felt something missing. I believe this missing piece will finally be solved by using blockchain technology, which connects the internal token ecosystem to external exchanges.

Parsec Frontiers is a project with grand ambitions. We are building a copy of the Milky Way, gamified with exploration, resource extraction, combat and empire building. All assets are on a blockchain, fully verifiable - which means the economy will have the confidence of all players. This transparency makes it easier to form an opinion on what resources are over- or undervalued. And connecting the token with exchanges makes it easy to move money in and out of the virtual world.

In Parsec Frontiers all transactions, items, planets, and resources can be verified on the blockchain. The game is modeled around the Milky Way galaxy, rather than some artificially generated universe. Players can colonize any world and set up their own resource exchanges on these planets. I think this adds a nice educational and realistic element as the player can be truly immersed as if they are making real discoveries. My own personal dream is that a game like this could be used to control real exploration robots in the future (maybe sooner than we think).

The team seems to have plenty of experience making high caliber games, and I definitely think it is worth a look.
