The process which started with the imitation of the coins produced from metal first reached the point of imitating almost everything with high quality and expensive later. This situation, which is often encountered in things that are valuable, sometimes manifests itself in priceless works of art.
Nowadays, thanks to the dazzling progress of technology, commercial counterfeiting has reached its peak point. A lot of luxury and expensive items that cannot be seen as fake, without examined by a specialist, are on the market. In fact, many people prefer the counterfeit instead of the original product, even though the purchasing power is sufficient.
But what could be the ultimate solution to free the masses who are using the original product by paying the price? A complete trust to the seller? Do you make extra expense by getting help from an expert? Or to act with our own feelings?
Unfortunately, none of these can provide a precise solution. We have to call the exclusive solution for this problem in the technology itself. I've chosen a project that will be a final answer to this problem as the subject of this article: Origin Foundation.

What is the Origin Foundation?
In essence, the Origin Foundation is a project that aims to become the world's first authenticity determination platform by harnessing power from blockchain technology. Especially, it aims to be a solution to the uncertainty of originality seen in luxury consumer goods. Nowadays, the counterfeit product market is such a large-scale market that its volume is at billions of dollars. It is the main purpose of the company to provide the only platform we need to protect from counterfeit products, from books to art, from clothing to jewellery.
There are a number of problems that need to be solved when the product in question is fraudulent. Origin Foundation aims to respond to these problems.
Now let's take a look at what these problems are and the solutions offered by the Origin Foundation.
Problems
✘ If there is no absolute solution, no one can be sure of the authenticity of the product he or she buys. However, the situation is different if you go and buy from the centre of the brand. But we don't always have a chance for every product, do we? Therefore, product originality is our most fundamental problem. This problem is a valid one for both the buyer and the seller, apparently. If you are a seller then you need to prove yourself that you sell authentic goods also. You know what I mean here?
✘ There is no common database system where records of a valuable product can be kept related to the sale of the forehead. Imagine, you're buying a precious watch, although the serial number is available, the story doesn't continue for that watch. This isn't the case for your car even if your watch is as precious as the car. Moreover, in case of stealing, you will stay disconnected and this is the end of the story.
✘ On the other hand, what is the value of a precious asset at the moment, it is not possible to learn. Because there isn't any environment present that can give you an idea about the value of your precious items. Therefore, an information centre is also required for the prices of valuable assets that can be converted to cash if necessary.
How can these problems be solved? The Origin Foundation has something to say about it.
Solution
The origin ecosystem is composed of three basic parts. These parts are the lifeblood of the system which are Origin blockchain, Proof of Authenticity and Origin asset tokenization. With the origin blockchain which is the beating heart of the platform, all information about the existing asset is decrypted in a transparent and unchangeable way. A lot of information, such as service data, trading details, is stored securely. All items are tagged by Origin for the type of asset and with the QR code that is impossible to copy or modify. This code is the shortest way to access all information about the asset. Thus, copying of any luxury and precious assets is impossible once it is registered in the system.
