Arena Play… “play games and get paid” quoted from their website https://www.arenaplay.io/

To think, I’ve been playing games for free all this time. I feel like a sucker. I’ll bet you’re wondering how it all works. Lets get into it. If you’ve played games like Day Z or Ark you know that you need to spend a lot of time building up your character and resources before you can start doing what you want to in game. What if you could pay another player with more time on their hands to do all of the boring stuff for you so when you go to play the game youre actually playing instead of doing a lot of tedious repetitive actions that aren’t fun at all. Maybe you’re on the other end. Maybe you enjoy building characters and aquiring in game resources. Maybe that’s your thing. Maybe you just want a little extra income. You’re going to be able to benefit from the other side of this equation. Arena Play is making a token for gamers on both sides, builders and players, to make exchanges between ready to go characters and resources for the time it takes to build them up.

Arena Play has a team of experienced developers (listed in their white paper) https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1wqvBXUvvRVAG1dQlKOyvD7FszV5ZWGCoPPu-39R0vAM/edit#slide=id.g1e96fe51d9_0_406 working on a MMO (massive multyplayer online) for the platform (the description of the game can also be found in their white paper). On top of the Arena Play MMO (I think its called Epic Loot Hunter), the platform is open for developers of other games to use. Developers are going to be given the option on whether to use the Arena Play token or another token. I can see how the option for other developers to use the platform could add a lot of value and keep the platform updated with some of the newest games. This is opinion on my part, not a guarantee that the Arena Play platform will be the next Steam. For those of you who aren’t gamers and don’t know the gaming industry, there are problems with developers “half making” cool games and running off with the money before fixing bugs and glitches. Further more I think that Arena Play should regulate what games can go on their platform. I didn’t see anything about an application process, in fact I read from their white paper “Every game developer can connect to our marketplace”…I hope there is some discretion about what games can be listed because I’d be sad to see a really good platform with a lot of shit games.
In conclusion, the gaming industry is large and highly competitive. Arena Play wants a piece of the action. They have some ideas I like and some areas I could see being problems. Have a look at their white paper and form your own opinion.
