Nucleus Vision - Connecting the Unconnected

As a retailer, can you exactly tell who has entered your store? Most owners probably won't be able to recognize their customers. Having loyal customers and building up customer relationship is one of the most important, but also most difficult thing to achieve nowadays through traditional marketing methods.
Nucleus Vision, a project which aims to connect the unconnected, is currently one of the most promising and developed project to help solving this problem.

What is Nucleus Vision?
Nucleus Vision is a project, founded in 2014 at Harvard University. With their end-to-end technology solution, Nucleus Vision captures and provides previously unaccessed data to retailers, by using the blockchain and the real time sensor technology. Special about this technology is that it is independent on RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification), WiFi, Blueetooth and facial recognition technologies. Also by using the blockchain, Nucleus Vision is able to secure consumers privacy and at the same time can reward loyal customers through the network with their cryptocurrency called nCash (more information about nCash below). nCash
Nucleus Vision uses the "nCash" tokens as their cryptocurrency to reward customers for their loyalty. nCash tokens were obtainable through the Nucleus Vision ICO (Initial Coin Offering). Since the ICO was a huge success and over 40 million USD were raised in a short time, tokens either will be obtainable through exchanges, coming later this year, or will be obtainable through the ecosystem of nCash which will be described shortly in the next section.

How does the nCash ecosystem work?

• When a customer enters a store, the retailers can award the customer for visiting their store
• When a purchase has been made in the store, the retailer can award the customer nCash tokens as loyality points
• In exchange the retailer requests information about the customer, such as shopping preferences or email adresses
• Retailers also can reward data providers for exchanging information about their customer
• Retailers can also request customer information from other retailers and get rewarded. But only if the customer agrees on the deal. In this case the customer also will get a reward in ncash tokens
• The customer can use ncash tokens to purchase from all the Nucleus Vision partners

Who is behind Nucleus Vision?
Their team consists of over 40 member. Among them there are 9 blockchain developers, 5 data scientists, 1 IoT platform architect, 5 marketing experts, 9 engineers and 11 operations professionals. So far Nucleus Vision has achieved quite a lot. But still their a lots of tasks that still needs to be done. My opinion:
In my opinion, Nucleus Vision is currently one of the most promising projects based on the blockchain. Their team looks very solid and so far they already have a real use-case with currently 10 live retail stores. Also since their ICO was such a great success and has gained a lot of media coverage, I truly think that Nucleus Vision will continually grow and also be successfull in the near future.
