Whenever we want to purchase something or go somewhere, we tend to ask others of their opinions. We believe that the feedbacks we receive are helpful for us to make a choice and decide what to buy or where to go. Also, in the perspective of businesses the evaluation of their products and services is very much important because it is from these reviews that companies base their products innovations and improvements in services. These feedbacks affect potential consumers’ choices which in turn impact the success of the company.

In a study, it is found out that 75% of consumers only make a purchase decision after reading the reviews; 40% of consumers distrust offers with no customer ratings; 20% of consumers believe that most ratings are falsified and only 2% of customers write reviews. From there, it will help him decide where to go. After dining and paying for the food and verifying his payment with his Rateonium card, he now has the opportunity to document his experience at the restaurant in the form of a review. He can rate how satisfied and happy he is with his dining experience. His rating is made anonymously and will be available to the worldwide Rateonium network. By making a review on the restaurant he will now receive Rateonium tokens. The number of Rateonium tokens is based on the purchase price of the respective product or service. The Rateonium app user can find the Rateonium tokens stored in the wallet integrated in his app. He now has the option of redeeming them at any participating company.

Now, having these tokens which can later on be redeemed, more customers will leave a rating for their purchases and in turn will help others make better choices.

The Rateonium token network has the two different tokens - the Rateonium token and the Ratec token. Ratec token will be sold during the Token Sale events and can be traded on major trading platforms while the Rateonium token can only be used to redeem rewards and cannot be traded.
