You select to navigate to 2-560. The entire ship shakes violently as it sharply turns 97 degrees. In the process of doing so, you hear a gut-wrecking sound of metal ripping apart. You are not certain what just shear off the ship was hopefully you did not need it. You just see your own ship's debris get added to the cosmos as you speed up speeding into a field of large space junk of what must have been dozens of ships at one point in time.
ATTENTION: Oxygen leak detected. Oxygen levels are decreasing currently at 70%.
Despite oxygen levels getting lower and the power starting to flicker on and off at a such rapid pace you start to feel rather dizzy. You sit frozen staring out into the vast field of broken ships. Wondering if there must have been some kind of giant battle between two different species at one time or if this was some kind of robbery gone wrong.
As your mind wanders trying to put what you see into some kind of context. You start to realize there might be some salvageable pieces of equipment and parts out in the debris field. You were often known for your ability to piece things together and just make things work when needed. This was nothing different just on a grander scale.
You would also at some point need to do your best to observe the overall condition the spaceship is in. while you are certain you can’t stay in this debris field forever. Perhaps against hope you can piece something together that will enable you to check out server other signals are you fight for survival.
ATTENTION: Oxygen leak detected. Oxygen levels are decreasing currently at 62%
You have a hard choice to make of what to do first. You could either go out and explore several of the local wrecks picking up whatever random parts you think could be useful. You could also go on a surveying mission to try and work out a list of items that might help you resolve some of the ongoing issues with the ship.
It would also be nice at some point if you could find possibly where the air leak(s) are coming from for the ship. It could be as simple as sealing off doorways to a lower section or perhaps welding some micro holes caused by floating trash that you went through.
One thing is for certain. You are not sure how much longer the power supplies you have in reserve will last. At some point, the ship will no longer be movable. The doors that need to pressurize won’t have the power to do so forever. You don’t want to end up on the ship forever just a floating corpse that failed to act.
Do nothing. Perhaps with a little more thinking you could come up with a better plan.
Further explore the ship and see if you can stop the air leak.
Move the ship closer to a massively damaged ship so you could board it easier for a salvage operation.
Move the ship to a small cluster of what looks to be escape pods. Perhaps one of them still works that you could use.
