no never, what's that? i do make baked potatoes in the slow cooker too. you just wrap them in tinfoil as usual and throw em in, no water or anything, leave for like 8 hrs, go about ya day, job done.

ooh well, it's basically a rice porridge. You just put the rice in with loads of water and let it cook for ages. You can either make it plain or add salt and butter, or cook it in stock.

Then when it's ready you make a selection of toppings and have that in the middle of the table. Anything really, some chicken, veggies, egg, prawns - whatever.

Then you each have a bowl of congee, add some soy sauce and pick at the selection of toppings, and add them to your bowl throughout the meal.

Also, good to have a choice of chillis, garlic oil, ginger, or any other tasty condiments to add spoon by spoon as you eat the congee.

sounds BOSS. love that! :) ok, may give this a go. i did a google search and it did look a little like some kind of buffalo semen. shit did i say that out loud? but yeah i'll give it a shot! :)
