Artist or not you decide!! Ice sculpturist teaching how to build salad bar made completely of ice?!?

Hello everyone its great to be on my 3rd day in a row here posting up blogs. Today I just want to show you guys one of the many things that I do at my restaurant! I build the salad bar completely made of ice! At the beginning it was rather difficult but after a few days of practice i got it down easily. I am just going to show you a lot of pictures of the step by step process of how to build a salad bar. I left out a lot of other pictures and tried to sum it up. It took me a while to take all these pictures. But I hope you enjoy what I do! Maybe i can create ice sculptures to who knows?!?!?

So this is what i come into every morning. There is always a little bit of ice at the bottom but now I have to add a lot more cubed ice then some crushed ice on top. So lets get started!

So first i have to fill up to two trash cans full of ice.

Then I add the cubed ice first to each side. Once i finish adding the cubed ice I go to the back and start prepping my food.

I go to the back of the house and I prep all my salads, fruits, and vegetables that i will serve for the day. Keep in mind this food is always fresh so i prep this every day! Its about over 20 different food items.

Once I put the food away in the walk in I start shredding enough ice for two trash can fulls.

Once i shred the ice i start building a wall first to support all the shredded ice going on top.

Then i add my dressings so i can wrap the ice around it.

Once i wrap the ice around the dressing I start putting ice on top of the cubed ice and layer it out.

I slowly start adding all the food in its place and and i add all the silverware. This is the easy part! I just put everything where it belongs and my salad bar is officially open!
