Langa Tabiki is a village of the Maroon group Paramaccaners in the Sipaliwini District of Suriname. The village is located in the Lawa, the border river between Suriname and French Guiana. Although there are local schools most children from the village cross the river by boat to attend the French schools. The village is beautiful and it's accessible by land and water transport. The inhabitants live by hustling in French Guiana, agriculture, fishing, hunting and gold mining. Below you can see some photos of my friend who visited the village recently
