I am not a fan of social media however I think steem is diff from other social media sites, the contents that post have here on steemit is more like blog tether than usual fb posts, I think it's diffrent in many ways and I should take little time to understand step by step 😁😀😁
I guess just use it to really express urself, maybe on a deeper level sometimes, and build relationships. big money comes later, if the platform succeeds. steem is like the freemium product of cryptocurrencies.
