Hello again. Back to share another instance of life that really grinds my gears. And ohhh are those gears grinding. So without further ado...
You know what really grinds my gears - people who are obnoxiously loud at quiet bars. You go into a nice, relaxing bar (for example - an airport lounge at 2PM on a Thursday) and all you want is to grab a couple drinks and chill. The bar seems great. Not too crowded. In this case specifically at an airport lounge, the alcohol is free. Things are looking great... Then...
You hear 2 people having a conversation on the other side of the bar. You can clearly hear every single stupid word they are spouting about really nothing at all. USE YOUR INSIDE VOICES! Do you have any ability to read your surroundings? All 3 of you are younger, so it can't be that you are hard of hearing. But then, after being angry for a bit you realize these people fall into 1 of 3 buckets:
- They want to be loud so they seem "cool" and people look in their direction (not sure why this would be cool)
- They are so drunk they don't know how stupidly loud they are (I've been here myself, so can't knock them for it)
- They are assholes and suck at life
I am guessing this group was able to accomplish #1 and #3 based on the look of it.
In summation, when you are at a bar, read the friggin room. If its quiet, keep it quiet brah. Nobody wants to hear your dumb conversation about the Cleveland Browns anyway.
