Humility is one of the most important virtues for humanity. As pride can unscrupulously corrupts a person leading to the downfall, humility lifts up a person unexpectedly.
Some people find significance by being placed under the spotlight. But the humble are satisfied with the little they have and quietly play their roles. The proud are offended when people overlook their presence, but the humble treat those who don’t like them with a big heart. The proud love flattering words, and the humble are calm when facing criticism.
The proud are hard to grow in character as they feel that they are already good enough. But the humble will grow as they believe they is room for improvement. As a whole the proud are superficial, but the humble have the noble character.
It is worthy of our attention, “Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted.” (Bible)
谦卑是人类的其中一个最重要美德。骄傲肆无忌惮造成人的腐化及堕落，而谦卑的人却在不知不觉之下被抬举起来。
有些人很看重自己能够置身于聚光灯下，但是谦卑的人却能夠基于所拥有的而感到满足，并安静地扮演他们的角色。当人被忽视了他们的存在，骄傲的人会觉得被冒犯，但是谦卑的人会以宽大的心胸看那些不喜欢他们的人。骄傲者乐于被奉承，而虚心者则淡定地面对批评。
骄傲的人很难在品格方面改善，因为他们自己觉得已经夠好了；谦卑的人因自認不足而持续成长。整体而言，骄傲带来肤浅，而谦卑者会具有高尚的品格。
值得我们注意的是，“凡自高的，必降為卑；自卑的，必升為高。”(圣经）

Muy buen post, la humildad debe ser aquello que jamas se pierde, me encantó esta frase "Algunas personas encuentran significado al ser colocadas bajo los reflectores", ya que habla de la diferencia que existe entre el éxito y la fama. El éxito es lo que debemos perseguir a cada instante, es el que no habla de reconocimiento, el que fundamentalmente le debe importar a nuestro ser. La fama es solo una consecuencia y llegará cuando estés listo para ser Exitoso, lo cual requiere de gran humildad. Un saludo
