When loneliness sets in, it creeps upon you like a thief in the stillness of the day or night. Everyone knows one has a limited time on earth. One does not know when it will hit you. There has been instances when one can enjoy the feeling that one does not have anyone looking down the shoulder, or anyone coming behind you. At the least one can to a certain extent do not think about it.
Loneliness can come about at any age, but usually it creeps in when one is older, when one cannot do too many things on his or her own . The person dealing with loneliness , has to help oneself so it does not become an issue. Now a days there are many things one can do to avoid it. There are retirement homes that one can go into or choose a hobby to keep oneself occupied . 
Sometimes. Sometimes I'd rather be alone though!
