民进党蔡英文以57.1%的得票率连任台湾总统,创下817万的历史高票；民进党在台湾立法院的113个席位中赢得了61个,继续获得完全执政.
蔡英文第一任期,已经摧毁了国民党,第二任期会加快清算的步伐,避免国民党利用15县市地方执政的优势进行反扑.
代表台湾传统社会价值的国民党,自身的软弱、迂腐、内斗,在人气爆棚的韩国瑜参选总统的情况下,虽然有15县市地方执政的绝对优势,最后也是惨败收场.
虽然,很多人认为,韩国瑜是民粹主义的代表,这个结论太过于狭隘.韩国瑜只是以庶民为根基,符合中华文化传统政治逻辑,并非是民粹.而蔡英文则是利用“反送中”来操作民粹,居然在明目张胆的腐败酬庸和反民主盛行的情况下,超高票当选.
蔡英文操作民粹的结果,只有一个:获得美国支持,清算岛内异己.
但后果也只有一个,加速两岸的武统,放弃和统幻想.

如果仅从台面上的数据来看，虽然韩国瑜以265万票的悬殊差距败给了蔡英文，但国民党在区域民代选举上比2016年小有进步，而政党票更是几乎和民进党打成平手，但为什么国民党支持群众与社会舆论的反弹这么大，检讨声浪更是排山倒海？这是因为国民党中央把一场原本颇有赢面的选战，硬生生搞成大溃败。
民粹主义曾被认为是制胜之道
