How To Use Your 5 Steemit Tags

With Steemit you have 5 tags you can choose to put into your post, you want to try and use all 5 if possible.
You can think about your subject within the Steemit platform, or a bit wider to what may come up on a main browser search as Steemit has great SEO.

For this post for the 5 tags, I was more thinking of the Steemit platform, what community's I'm apart of that don't minded me using there tags.

There's no point seeing community tags or trending tags that you or your post may have nothing to do with, this may blacklist your account.

Going to the trending tags, the top 5 are life, photography, steemit, kr, art
Looking at the trending tags and what my post is about I could use life, but there are other tags that could be used than life as not talking about life in general.
Photography - looking at my post, I don't have my own pictures or talking about photography.
Steemit - This tag I can use as the post is about Steemit Tags, which is used on the Steemit platform. This tag should be used when your post is about the Steemit platform.
kr - well my post isn't in Korean or about anything Korean, nor am I apart of the Korean community so not a tag I would use for this post.
Art - someone might argue that a hushtag could be used as a art form, this post is not about a hashtag being a art-from, so another tag I couldn't use for this post.

If this post was able to use all 5 top trending hash tags you wouldn't want to use them - Why you must be crazy they are the most seen tags right?
Yes they are the most seen but they are also the most used, sit on some of these top trending tags and see how many posts filter though those tags and see if you can keep up with every new post coming thru.

You want your post to be seen, that's why mixing up tags from trending, to what is in your post is about, using one tag from your heading, (that's why a great heading/title is important, but that's another post for another day.)Community's you are actively involved in.

• socialmedia - as Steemit is a social-media platform, social-media platforms use hashtags.
• teamnz - as I'm also a active member of the teamnz community in discord
• education- as this post is about teaching and helping others with information they might not know or could use.
