How to make rope snails which we can give as gifts?
I would like to show you a self-designed napkin holder that I made with macrame technology. It is an ideal gift for spring, free-space events, for example easter table, mothers day, (name-) and birthday parties.
Making it simple. We will need approximately 2 m long rope of 5-7 mm diameter, which will be cut into two, so that we will have two long threaded ropes. Now we're half-folding both rope, so we make a 4 stranded band. When it is well formed to curve, we make a ring, and thread one of the threads over the initial part of the braid and continue spinning until as long as we want to make the snail body. When done, we connect two rope ends and cut off the end by we leave a small length, and we make a node at its end.
The remaining two ropes are then led back in parallel with the snail body and tying there to the snail house.
We prepare 2, 4 or 6 set, or as many outdoor gifts as how many people were invited for outdoor garden parties.
Nagyon csinosak! Gyerekkoromban sokat makraméztam, újra ki kellene próbálnom!
Jó! :-)
