Facebook now allows users to stream live video to their page and profile. Follow the guide.
The functionality was until now a few personalities and brands who took advantage of it to rejoice their fans, then it was proposed in the United States. But now Facebook offers everyone the opportunity to stream live videos on their Facebook page or on their profile. A way for Mark Zuckerberg firm to assert itself a little more like the first competitor of YouTube (which also prepares its Live Mobile function), but also to catch up on Twitter and its famous Periscope, now integrated together.
To share a live video, simply create a "New Status" and click on "Live Video" to start filming after entering a small description. The application displays the number of live viewers, the names of friends watching the video stream, and the comments they write during playback.
All videos, which can not exceed 30 minutes, are then archived in the Timeline, unless the user decides to delete it. It is also possible to subscribe to a user to be alerted of his next broadcasts.
Since March 2017, it is possible to make a live video from a computer, from his Facebook account. The procedure is exactly the same: just go to your profile page, create a new status and choose a live broadcast. This is the webcam of your computer which will then be used for the live.
