It's a strange and wonderful realization, isn't it? Even now, after all this living, after all the experiences and lessons, I often find myself still feeling incredibly new at things. There are moments when I'm starting over in a certain area, or learning something late that others seem to have grasped ages ago. It's a continuous cycle of forgetting and remembering again.
For a long time, this feeling of being a beginner, or not being "expert" enough, used to make me feel small, almost inadequate. But now, my perspective has completely shifted. Instead of diminishing me, it actually makes me feel alive. Think about it: beginners are curious. They approach things with wide-eyed wonder and a genuine desire to explore. And beginners are brave. They step into the unknown, willing to stumble and learn without the burden of perfection.
This isn't something I outgrow as I accumulate more years or experiences. Instead, I consciously choose it. I choose to embrace that beginner's mindset, to remain open to newness, and to find the excitement in continuously unfolding.
