In our country, Kalesa has been one of the many means of transportation that the Filipinos are very proud of. While on this ride, I asked the old man driving the kalesa if how many hours does a horse can be used to get passengers. And he said, one horse can only be used up to 3 to 4 hrs maximum and another horse should be taken place. The duty of a horse will then be resume the next day in order not to abuse animal capacity to do chores.
This transportation also is very beneficial in reducing the pollutants from cars that could somewhat alter the natural composition of the environment.
