Make sure what you want to protect deserves your protection.
Aren't you trying to hold onto what you should leave behind?
It is easier to hold onto what you have than to get new things.
Aren't you trying to protect something as it is easier to do?
For example, don't you treat your girlfriend terrible to protect your position as a man in the relationship?
Or, protecting small, inefficient companies will protect employment in the short-term, but in the long-term, it will prevent healthy renewing of society by newly emerging companies.
Or, let's say you are a manager of an artist, and make sure you don't demand her so much to increase sales.
Legally or contractually, it may be OK to demand it.
But sometimes, it doesn't mean it is morally OK to do it.
I read Ms. Taylor Swift's post on YouTube.
It says that American Music Awards will honor her with an award, and her two managers are saying "NO" to her performing old songs at the award's ceremony.
And it also says that her two managers have never involved in writing the songs or in building relationships with her fans.
The impression I got from what she wrote is that it is just an emotional appeal, and the legal rights of the songs are not made clear to the readers, and it is difficult to judge who is wrong from the post.
If the two managers are nothing to do with the songs, why can they prevent her from performing?
I've read in a book that in the US, an artist (I don't remember if movie stars or musicians are referred in the book) is at the top of the team, hiring all those mangers, etc.
And I think that the two managers have contributed to her sales to some extent (because they are managers) and have the proper right to claim not to perform the old songs, even though the post gives us the impression that the two managers have done nothing good.
If that's the case, that Ms. Swift wrote like "They haven't had a hand in the writing of the songs" is unfair and misleading.
Astrologically, the two managers (or even Ms. Swift) may be trying to protect something.
Isn't Ms. Swift threatening the rights of the two managers, and aren't they just trying to protect them?
If you look at the credits of the lyrics of the songs Ms. Swift sings, you will notice the lyrics are not written only by her.
They write songs in a team.
And Ms. Swift calls her old songs "my own music" or "I wrote the songs," and it sounds that she is not appreciating others who have involved in writing the songs.
And isn't her such arrogant attitude causing the trouble with the two managers?
I understand that artists are the one who contributes most to the sales, and I agree that they should be the decision-maker.
However, I feel it is arrogant of the artists to publish a post that sounds that Ms. Swift has done everything with no hinting of contributions by other members of the team, especially the two managers Ms. Swift criticizes in the post.
She is a very famous artist and influential.
I think when such a person criticizes others in public, she needs to try being fair, or the one criticized will be blamed no matter what the truths are.

安きに流れていないでしょうか？
例えば、自分の男としてのプライドのために、付き合いの長い彼女を虐げてはいないでしょうか。
例えば、中小企業を過剰なまでに保護すると、目先の雇用は維持できるけれども、社会の新陳代謝が進まないのではないでしょうか。
例えば、あなたがアーティストのマネージャーだとして、目先の売上を守るために、アーティストに非常識な要求を突きつけていないでしょうか。
法律や契約的には、マネージャーであるあなたにその要求をつきつける権限があったとしても、かといってそれを行使するのは一般的な感覚からずれていると思われるケースって結構あると思うんだよね。
Taylor Swiftさんがとある賞をもらうらしいのだけど、マネージャー２人（？）にその賞で過去の曲を披露するのはダメと言われてるらしく。
その２人は、曲作りにタッチしていないし、ファンとの関係を築いたのも自分なのに、なぜ妨害するのか、というのがTaylorさんの言い分。
私が彼女の言い分から受けた印象としては、情に訴えるだけで、権利関係が見えないな、ということ。
そもそも２人が本当に彼女の曲とは「無関係」なのであれば、その２人に妨害できる権限をなぜ与えたのかってことであるし。
アメリカでは、アーティストがトップに立ち、マネージャー等々を採用するって話を読んだことがあるんだけどね(映画業界だったか音楽業界だったかは忘れた)。
たぶん、そのマネージャー2人は、少なからず売上に貢献しているものがあるのだけど、Taylorさんはそれを無視して、「曲に無関係」などと言い放ってしまうところに問題はないのかな？と私は思った。
星占い的に見ると、そのマネージャー2人（あるいはTaylorさんか、だけど）は、何かを守ろうとしているのだと思う。
Taylorさんは、そのマネージャー２人を脅かすようなことをしてないのでしょうか。
アメリカンポップスの歌詞のクレジットとか見ると、大概の場合が、連名なんだよね。
なので、自分の曲を指して、「私が書いた」とか、「私の歌」とか言うのはいささか傲慢がすぎるんじゃないかと思う。
そういう日頃の傲慢な態度が募って、マネージャーとのトラブルに発展してやいないでしょうか。
アーティストは体を張ってチームの先頭に立ち、売上にも責任を持っていると思う
ので、アーティストに最終決定権があってしかるべきとは私も思うんだけど。
でもだからといって、自分１人ですべてを成し遂げたかのように見える主張をするのは、どうなのかなと思うんだよね。
特に、アーティストは多数の人々に対し強い発言力を持っていて、一方的に2人のマネージャーを糾弾するのはフェアじゃないと思うんだよね。
確かにアーティストがすべてなんだけど、それをアーティストご本人様が言い出したら、終わりだと思う。
