Yesterday we had another litter of piglets born!
We knew that she was pregnant, but didn't know when she would give birth! Yesterday, while Monster Truck the Pepper and I were doing some chores on the land, we noticed something. Here is the video footage of us first checking out these piglets.
SEVEN MORE PIGLETS!
There is something every exciting about having an animal successfully birth the next generation. We never grow tired of it.
These cute little piglets were born outside on a beautiful day, which can be rare enough these days. They were not in some dark concrete pen. However, we still needed to get them into an area where they would be safer, and where they could not escape from.
Monster Truck the Pepper helped me move them over to their home. It was very nice to see my young man enjoying these new creatures. I'm glad that my children can experience things like this.
Before too long they were all hard at work figuring out how to drink mama's milk. It is amazing to me to see how quickly the little piglets can be up and running around, and that they know right where to go for a meal. Just as it was designed, the milk shows up at the right time too!
Here you can see how little the seven new piglets are when compared to the nine that were born before. They live next door to one another, and will eventually probably be playmates. It was a super-happy day for us, and we are so blessed to be able to enjoy these animals.
Did you know that both the mama pig and the papa pig were purchased with earnings from steemit? Check out the post on that from last year here: https://steemit.com/steemit/@papa-pepper/breaking-news-is-steemit-starting-to-buy-the-farm-papa-pepper-investigates
HAS IT BEEN THAT LONG?
It is amazing to reflect back on these pigs. I can't believe that it has been over a year already! Here is a photo of the mama pig just a year ago! She has the lighter colored stripe. They grow up so quickly...
It's amazing how time flies, and what steemit can do! We now have even more second generation STEEM-POWERED PIGGIES!
As always, I'm @papa-pepper and here's the proof:

We are doing well. Thanks @charles1.
That's excellent for the kids to grow up with this and getting close with the animals. We had goats that we were breeding, along with a milking cow.
Cool. The kids do love it!

Adorable piglets, and a profitable litter! Really enjoy the fact that this is a Steem-backed venture...
How long before the piglets reach full size and what will you do with them, eventually? Do you butcher them for yourselves or perhaps they will be sold?
Upvoted and am now following you. Thanks again, and wishing you continued good luck on Steem!
We will sell some and butcher others.

Aww how cute, hope you have fun having them and at least they are now born and no need to wait anymore. STEEM piggies for the win!
Yup, no more waiting for them to be born!
Super and cute! Did you see the tail, I see it more and more that there is no typical curl in the tail from a pig.
We have some of each, but the parents had mostly straight tails this time.
Awww cute cute ♥your son got amazing Experience too
Your post make me happy 😁🎵thank you
Wow...that is awesome news. The piggies look so cute and cuddly :)
They are very cute, aren't they?
Good day for the Peppers.
Yes it was!
Wow! So many 🐗🐗🐗🐗!
Oink-oink! Sooo sweat piggies! I think they have a good place at your farm, instead of industrial pork-factories. Although I am a vegetarian and I am confident that they are more of our friends than food, I accept that people eat homestead meat, of course, with moderation.
Have you heard about the Hungarian Mangalitsa? This is an old pig breed with more fat than meat. It was almost extinct, but mowadays we can find them in more and more homestead farms. It grows huge, about 200 kilograms, and can be rather dangerous for its owner as well. In Hungary, tere's a great tradition of porking (I hate it, every man is drunk already, early in the morning). I remember from my childhood,
I will never forget, when I woke up early morning, hearing a terrible cry of the pig from our neighborhood.
That must be such a cool experience raising new livestock on the farm and seeing your farm and its animals grow and thrive
Hey @papa-pepper you are my favourite buddy. I just love what you share
I am very glad to see your herd growing at such a rate. What size are you aiming for?
Very cute!!!! They are smaller than I thought.
Hi papa pepper, very nice day for you today. You have to give us trip for that. Very beautiful piglets your son little papa pepper is very smart. You never give any attention to my work, please have a look me too. I wish you good luck good health and happiness.
cute little piglets
Awe.....Is there anything cuter than a little piglet? The farm is such an education for both young and old.
Oh, my gosh @papapepper! Seven very healthy and cute little piglets. Your homestead is growing by leaps and bounds. You should be very proud of what you have achieved so far. And thanks to steam for aiding in getting you started with the pigs. By the way, Monster Truck the Pepper takes after his papa!
Thank you for your encouragement. It is a lot of work, but very rewarding, and at least I have plenty of little helpers!
Thanks @cecicastor~
Hello @papa-pepper, just want to say this is another great post, as allways. Today i wrote a post where i say who are my favourite steem whales, and you are one of them. Thank you very much for your inspiring posts.

God damn they're cute.
Since I was a little boy I wanted a piglet as a pet. One day a family member brought home a little Musk hog (I called it a piglet wannabe).
Me thinking finally...but then they gave me the rules which I had to follow in order to be able to keep him as a pet. Sadly I had to let him go.
Do you by any chance know someone who tried to keep a musk hog as a pet?
I am not even sure what a "musk hog" is. Please do tell me.
@papa-pepper Well, it's a mini version of Timon's best friend Pumbaa LOL.....
Pumbaa is a warthog and the Musk Hog I'm talking about is probably to you better known as a Peccary (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peccary).
My first time hunting them was like a nightmare out of a -A- class hollywood horror /thriller/ drama/ comedy flick. Never again....that I promised my self.
I rather join Kevin Richardson and his lions..much less dangerous :)
Ha! It's like they all have on little-piggy Darth Vader masks!
seems like your are getting on the edge of piglets land....LOL

Man those little guys are adorable!
Very interesting that the variety in their coat patters comes out in pairs, well accept for the extra black one...
I wonder what cause that to happen. I would have expected them to have more variation.
How do you tell them apart lol? Personalities I guess? Oone is a little rambunctious, the other one more skiddish etc.
BTW sent you a msg on the Discord.
I thought that there would be less variation, but I sure do like what we got. I wonder about things like that too.
I don't know why , but I read that title the first time as "MORE LITTLE FIGET SPINNERS ON THE HOMESTEAD!"
My children aren't allowed to fidget. They can sit still and think rather than constantly be distracted. LOL!
My wife say those piglets are sooooooo cute! I know what you talking about my miniture doberman had 4 litters and was everytime so special.
It is very special... speaking of special, guess who is a winner?
Big smiles
Great work Love you setup. Taking mental notes for when I can afford some land :)
Cool! Feel free to learn form our mistakes too!
haha i’ve not see too many yet. Although its the best way to learn. Keep it up @papa-pepper :)
Mmmmmm bacon!!!!
Nice piglets. Its like your growing your farm family.
Thanks, we are really enjoying it!
Well done Mrs Pig. Suggest not naming them if you can get away without it. Inviting " Sammy" to tea isnt the same as having pork for tea.
Love the cool dude in the shades,
Good guess on the 7 there mate! We will try to keep them anonymous! Thanks for the tip!
we had two lambs when the kids were about little peppers age, I tried calling them "Mint" and " Sauce" but still had to "swap" them with a friendly farmer before the kids would consider lamb for tea.
Wow
Wooh congrats mama pig on her new babies hehehehehe. By the way, steemit is really a life changing platform, especially in our country where finance is one of the main problem.
It is a life-changer, I fully agree! A very powerful tool to have in our hands! Thanks @asbonclz!
Awe, piglets are so cute. :D I love how they are all slightly different coloring, very adorable. :D
Wow.. This is so beautiful. I was once fortunate to see a pig give birth. It was awesome even i was more like monster pepper then. Thank you for sharing.
These little piglets are adorable. Love it. One day I'm going to get me some little piglets.
Good post. Visit my post in my blog @auliasiddiq
Thanks for sharing!
It's so nice to see your pigs and piglets. Here in the Netherlands they are mostly inside and don't have much space. But your pigs.... It must be a blessing (even if they don't know it) to be a pig at papa-peppers place.
Congratulations @papa-pepper!
