Checking Hydroponic Plants at Night and Guarding Against Wild Animal Attacks - #pakiisfarming

in #homesteading2 years ago

At night hydroponic plants are often a place frequented by wild animals, these wild animals do not eat plants but destroy pipes to just look for water.

I have seen this once, a wild squirrel drinking water from the water flow in the hydroponic pipe, causing the water pipe to be damaged.

Here are some hydroponic sightings at night.

Lettuce Plant

This plant is only 10 days old from planting. Usually, lettuce leaves are harvested in 30 days of planting, or if it is calculated from the time of sowing, seeding, until harvesting is 50-60 days.

Pakcoy Mustard Plant

This mustard is 15 days old, usually pakcoy mustard will grow faster when it reaches 20 days. This is because the use of high protein if it is 20 days old. the harvest period of the mustard plant is 40-50 days from the planting period.

While this has entered its 35th day and is entering the stage of waiting to be harvested, the size is large and can be consumed.

Usually when it is 35 days old, I have stopped giving protein, but keep the PH of the water so that the plants are fresh and have good fiber.
