Peach Pickin Paradise - Lamar Arkansas ~ It's Peach SEASON! 📷 [Video inside]

COME JOIN US IN THE PEACH ORCHARD!

We spent about an hour filling up 3 bushels of peaches to take home and jar up for the pantry. Of course the boys helped too and ate their fair share of peaches in the orchard.

The cling stone variety that we usually get was not ready yet to be harvested so instead we chose to harvest a free stone variety called Loring. They tasted fantastic and we decided to just fill them up.

Then came the hour and a half ride home and today right now, Jaimie is out in the outdoor kitchen putting the peaches in jars for the pantry.

Zac decided he was going to use this opportunity to make some peach wine. These two gallons will make about 9-10 bottles of wine.

Oh man the pies for winter are going to be awesome! I was taught to prune them to look like a wine glass. Great info on the varieties! Resteemit!

Yeah we love us some peach pies!

Man, those look so good. How much a bushel?

$40 if you pick.

The peaches looked absolutely delicious. We have gone to pick at an apple orchard near San Diego, CA and it was very fun. The best part is the all-you-can-eat situation while picking!

Any chance you might be adding wine to your store?? ; )

Cant sell wine, that is illegal. Sorry.

Peach wine🙌🏻

Can you please share sometime the process?
Lovely Friday to you⭐️

You just collect the juice, add sugar and ferment. YES it's that easy. check out these 5 tips for Great Wine video I did. This will apply to every homemade wine to get a good end result.

You are so awesome!

Thank you!

You can come over here for a virtual pick your own. No charge for you and other people here on steemit!
Ours should be ready in a few weeks!

Haha I'll be over soon! Thank you :)

You are very blessed! Hard work and patience pays off, just like what I wrote about right now haha
Happy Tuesday!🌟

I am from Georgia and your peaches are making me homesick. LOL I really do love you guys and your Channel. I've been following you since the first season. Y'all were one of the first families to open my eyes and turn me from just being a prepper to wanting to learn and possess the skills of homesteading. So glad to see you here on Steam it. This is such a better platform for more personal interaction. God bless you and the work you are doing keep it up. check out my YouTube channel sometime if you get a chance and see what you have inspired me to accomplish over the last couple of years.

Thanks I will check out your channel. It was reported that Georgia lost about 80% of their peach crop this year. Most of the south had a late frost that hurt a lot of peach growers.

Wow that is sad to hear Wii have lived in Jacksonville Florida for the last 14 years so I haven't really kept tabs on the agriculture of Georgia but I know we've had plenty of Sun heat and rain down here to grow just about anything your heart's desires.

My oh my! I'm ready for some peach cobbler! And some of that peach wine 🍷 might hit the spot alongside the cobbler. Yummmmm!

Great fun gathering those peaches. Love that fruit. Just being in nature and harvesting fruit is so basic and intrinsically natural . To be close to nature and its many offerings.

I love manicured orchards! It was fun being there. Going back next week.

Thnx. Appreciate you.

Even though we had a hard frost and even some snow in the area on Mothers Day here in New Hampshire the peach tree was so loaded down with fruit this year we had to thin out some of the fruit because it is still young and the branches were pulled down too low
Hoping for a big harvest in a few weeks.
There is nothing like fresh picked peaches!
