RE: ONE YEAR VIDEO TOUR!!

in #homesteading5 years ago

Hi there. We are a blogging homestead and wellness center. We did the video simply to show all of our hard work and changes here. Not for any other purpose. Well....to help inspire others. We teach gardening, run a local garden page, a Facebook page, and a YouTube channel. Our videos are uploaded via YouTube and have the dates and info there along with a bunch of other videos and 'how to' turtorials. We are just passionate about growing food and teaching/inspiring others to do the same. As for the method we are using it is called Back To Eden. It is basically buildig soil, giving back to the Earth, and making growing food so so simple. It adds a ton of nutrients to the soil naturally so it voids the need for synthetic fertilizers. It naturally supresses weeds and the few that do pop through are super easy to pull up. It brings in earthworms and millipedes which help airate the soil. It balances moisture keeping the soil almost always consistently moist even in triple digit heat (I hardly ever have to water). It creates a mycorrhizal association for the plants which help them grow stronger. I can go on and on about the benefits of it. It is a lot of work up fron to set this type of garden up but once you get it set, everything is super simple. No tilling, no weeding, no watering, no feeding....it all runs itself. Check out our Facebook page (links above) if you are interested in learning more. We have files uploaded there with a lot of great info. Thanks for stopping by!!

Glad to receive a lengthy response to my reply with some fine details, To be honest I did not gone to your profile page or previous post for to know what you people are specialized in. I still believe that to record an one year video of a farm need good patience and resolve which you were made. I will visit all those pages as and when I gets time.

So far I was having no business with farming, the terms which you were using as my profession was that of a Civil engineer, but recently around two months back I ventured into a new business and trying to understand the terms, the method etc about it. Can you please go through these two posts whenever you gets time as you will get some idea of what I am into now.

Now I need a help from you if possible. Can share me some insights how carrots can be preserved without getting damaged or spoiled in natural way, that means without refrigerated as our intention is to supply farm fresh original vegetables.

Thanks in advance.
