Rindik is one of Bali's traditional musical instruments and has become the hallmark of Balinese culture.
Starting when the wengker (now Ponorogo) rebellion to majapahit, many angklung Reyog which is a weapon kingdom majapahit also serves as a musical instrument in living in the kingdom. Rindik made of bamboo with selendro tone and played by beating. This instrument is usually played by 2 to 5 players, in which 2 people beat Rindik and the rest for flute and gong pulu. There are five basic tones possessed by Rindik. At first rindik was only made as a tool to entertain the farmers in the fields. Rindik also commonly used as musical accompaniment entertainment people 'Joged Bumbung'. However, along with the times, now Rindik is more flexible in its use.
