Hot water on demand

We are trying something new this winter. I got out our 8 gallon stockpot out of storage. It was purchased last fall to extract the sugar from the sugar cane.

Last winter we just used ½ gallon tea kettles to keep water hot, but there never seemed to be enough hot water for dishes and showers at the end of the day. However, this year we have 8 gallons of hot water on tap all the time and it works great.

Now that is a good idea. Do y’all have a video making the spout or was it already installed? Resteemed and love it.

The spigot comes with the pot, complete with the wrenches for installation.

That’s an awesome off grid addition.

That's great. I must say hot water is such a blessing in winter.
I can imagine your situation because I live in the dormitory and if sometimes we don't have hot water we know we are in big trouble.
Just upvoted and followed you to not miss out the interesting content coming from your side.
@suf1an

That is a fantastic idea!
Ill have to file that away in my great ideas for when we lose power or decide to go off grid....
Thanks!

That's a great idea thanks for sharing.

Do you ever boil pots of water to add humidity? Or is that not much of an issue?

For us it is not much of an issue. Bathing with rain water sure helps rather than the hard water from the well.

Excellent solution!

It always makes me feel good when I can use something for multiple purposes, GREAT idea!

What a great idea! Now if you could figure out a way to hook that up to the shower and the sink then you could patent it. 🐓🐓
