Mom and Dad ca. 1955, age 22
On Sunday, July 30th, it’s my mom’s 90th birthday. My siblings and I have planned a party for her at a restaurant near where she lives. My youngest brother plans to take her for ice cream and a ride in the afternoon after the party, before bringing her here to my house for the week.

As she will be here all week, and sleeping in the office, I don’t know how many posts I will be able to write, as I will have to do it in the afternoons, if I have time and energy.
I hope to get one up about her party and birthday at least, but we will see. Today I only have time to dash this off, letting everyone know I am ok, just busy, etc.

You look just like your mom, I see. Happy Birthday to her! I bet she has a great party, having her children with her will be all the gift she needs, but I'm sure she'll like her present too! She will really enjoy her visit this week, especially spending so much time with you guys, though hanging out watching the birds, rabbits, etc... from your garden will also be a nice way to spend part of the day when the weathers nice. 😊
My tea is gone, so you know what that means...it's time to get off this computer and clean my house, so I'll say goodbye for now and chat with you again soon. 😊

Wow, 90 is quite an accomplishment! Definitely wishing her a Happy Birthday. I wish my Mom could have made it that long... It's always fun to see those old photos and jus think how different the world was back then. I'm sure you will enjoy her visit and I look forward to hearing about it!
