Another night of not enough sleep and I wasn’t moving too fast. I wasn’t quite ready when my general helper arrived, so she started feeding the seedlings. They get fed about once a week, starting 2 weeks after they come up. She got them about half done by the time I was ready.
We went and got my new glasses and did some shopping and came home. She finished the seedlings while I put the shopping away. Then we headed up to the barn.
She sorted the cans that my helper friend had dried on Tuesday while I labeled cans and got things put into them. I found there was still a lot of sorting that hadn’t gotten done. I even found a whole other big can of greasy stuff that was put into the degreaser. It’s the 3rd round for the degreaser so I’m not sure how well it will work.
My helper friend arrived and he set about darkening the outlines for tools on the walls. Then he sorted out the plumbing cabinet.
Next he started labeling what was in the cabinets. I’m going to have to get more adhesive tape…

My helper friend started labeling these cabinets. The little red one, the drawers would not work properly. So he worked on it a bit and got them to go in and out, if not smoothly.
At some point the big cabinet at the end of the workshop is going to move to the house workshop. I hope to put up shelves in its place. These cans of odds and ends will move onto those.
I had started lining things up where they belonged on the big bench when it was time for my helper friend to go. I’d been standing for hours doing the sorting and was cold, so I went back to the house. I ended up sleeping for a couple hours.
On Friday we all go back out to the workshop and I hope to finish the sorting and labeling and move onto the next bay.
