Here is local chicken market where you can buy broiler and other kind of chickens, also there is other birds like duck and turkey.
I suggest you to buy chickens from chicken farms not from markets , because sometimes you buy wrong breed plus prices are around same if you buy directly from chicken farm , but in chicken farm they are all with licensed and no disease and under control .
Plus best time is winter because its non season and you can buy 10-20% cheaper than in spring/summer

I like buying in the off season as well. I have a second coop away from my birds that I quarantine new additions in. You never can be too careful. My farm as thus far been disease free. I'm hoping to keep it that way.
