These firm little fruits give off a delectable fragrance, like a cross between pineapple and strawberry.
This is the first year I have gotten a significant quantity of fruit from this 5 year old tree. Since it is tropical, it prefers heavy watering, and appreciates a good shower on its leaves every so often.
The hard little seeds kind of get in the way of eating out of hand, but they are not bitter or harmful, so my next experiment is putting them through the juicer.
May your day be fruitful!

I love the smell of ripe guavas!
I do, too, now that I am acquainted with it. Thanks so much for stopping by.
Our tree is starting to bear so I'm excited. We used to get 1 and that's all. Guavas are great sources of Vitamin A plus, they taste good. I just wash and pop them.
Con-guava-lations!
