My name is Ann. I live in a small Northern Indiana town with my husband and son among the Amish buggies and corn fields, serving God in our daily lives and spreading His Word to our community and beyond.
Ann'Re is my childhood nickname and many family still call me by it. My middle name is Marie, after my godmother, and 'Re is short for that. Ann'Re is also my crochet business name.

I'm so blessed to work here at home doing the things I love: devoted wife of almost 24 years, mother and homeschool teacher to our 17 year old son (who is now a homeschool graduate), keeper of the home, maker of meals, tender of the gardens, prepper of the pantry, reader of cookbooks, pursuer of simplicity, stretcher of budgets, worker of hand crafts, chaser of dogs, watcher of birds, tender of chickens, breeder of dust bunnies, sipper of tea, drinker of too much coffee, student of the Scriptures, lover of Jesus, struggling Proverbs 31 and aspiring Titus 2 woman. I'm passionate about it all!

I started blogging is 2005 on my birthday. We had just moved away from family and friends, and this was a way to keep in touch with them as well as sharing things that interest me. My blogging has gone through many transformations since then. It's now my 2017 and as I celebrate my 50th birthday I'm now excited to be part of the Steemit community. I blog here for my own purpose, enjoyment and therapy. I pray that even though I share my thoughts, opinions, successes and struggles, that God will be glorified first and anyone reading will be encouraged.

I'm @andyluy and I've been here for almost 2 months, and I can tell you that steemit is the most amazing thing I've ever seen at the internet so far. I'm happy seeing it grows every day!
