So I will walk you through the green house, and show you my carrot patches.
We are going to start on the cooler side of the green house that doesn’t have a heater, the “new” side.
First up in the green house are the wild strawberries.
I have my first flower! They are doing very well too!
My pie pumpkins are doing well, I almost forgot they where in the grow tent in the house. Oops, but they survived! I also have about four little pumpkins too! If you look closely you can see them.
Now for my potatoes 💗
Two of my purple potatoes started to burst through the top so I decided to dig up one to check them out.
I got one large potatoe and about 8 small/micro potatoes 😕
Onto the hot side of the green house.
We are going to start with my tomatos.
Now I have two different kinds, cherry and normal. But I also did two different things when prepping them for the green house. Four had a black trash bag wrapped around them, the others had a white trash bags filled with air as a bubble. Was trying to figure out what would be best.
Left side the one that had the bubble, right side the one with the black trash bag.
So it appears that the black trash bag blanket works best!
My peas are growing like crazy!
But still no flowers 😕
My husbands jalapeño peppers
We have baby peppers starting 😊
My cat nip is still growing, even after my cat layed on them.
After my cat enjoyed the plant
It has bounced back nicely
I have two green bean plants producing beans 💗
Last, but not least, is my carrots.
I have “little fingers” and purple carrots(the one with a baseball).
I put some old fencing over my carrots to keep my chicken out of the boxes. They where dust bathing in them before I planted.
Well that’s it from the garden.
Hope you all are well and your gardens are flourishing 💗

Wheee! I knew you'd get those strawberries flourishing. Way to go!
Love the tour, keep'em growing. I can't imagine growing crops in Alaska but you sure make it seem like regular gardening. We're heating up in Oklahoma, had a fluke day yesterday in the 70s.
Thanks! We hit a high of 74° the other day, I felt like I would melt!
LOL that's funny! My son said his ideal temps are in the 60s and I don't blame him. It's too humid here where we are - hot and sticky humid. 🙄
60’s still bring a chill. 70’s are nice, but after 70 it’s melty. We’re we are we are tilted towards the sun so we get the intense burn on the skin like you would in the desert, but at 70°
high 60s and low 70s are realllly nice 👍Whoa, like you get sunburn at 70? That's surprising.
I want Alaska freeze for the bugs here come winter time. Do you have problems with spider mites there?
Yeah I have a sun burn/red tan already.
Winter donesnt kill the bugs. The bugs freeze and thaw. We have mini flow that bite and leave welts that itch, no see’ums, and mosquitos. Wehavea lot of spiders, Wolf spiders and some other freaky ones, also some pretty ones.
I claim the first strawberry
Nope! All mine!
Wow, those strawberry plants are lookin' great!
Everything looks good! :)
Ohh!! I got some soap in the mail today!! ;)
💗Thanks!
I hope you enjoy the soap, it smells just like an oat meal cookie. I have found that the sent lasts the whole bar too. Hubby did amazing on that batch!
When I gift them out I have to tell people not to eat it, they look at me strange then smell it. Then they are like “Oh!”😲
We have family who have allergies to soaps, they are able to use ours and their cats lick the soap. No joke she sent us a picture of the goofball eating the soap.
It definitely smells like you'd wanna eat it! Mmmm cookies!
Maybe after I get my never-ending lawn mowed I will try it out, lol.
Ewww I had one of those as a kid. It was a full acre of grass that I had to mow for no $, with a freaking push mower too.
Here at this house we have moss, willows, palintin, dandylions and what wild grass is able to grow. I am happy with the wild look 😂
I'd definitely be happy with the wild look too!! We have 7 acres and I normally go out along the highway a bit and around the village sign; that's my only effort in or around the village, lol. At least I don't have to push mow too much, just around the house, garden, firepit, and stuff like that.
It took me an hour with the tow behind mower just to mow out the driveway and by the highway!
Wow!
Your plants are all doing pretty well, considering the temperatures you have to deal with! Of course, the peas like the cool weather, so I'm not surprised they're growing well. :-)
The strawberries seem to be doing really well in the containers.
I didn’t know peas like cooler weather 😮
Yeah I’m excited about the strawberries 😊
Beautiful green house garden. Good job! Your cat grows some mean catnip LOL.

I'm a bot. I detect haiku.
😊Thanks, yeah I just got to get him to kick his habit. Sometimes he uses to much and become dependent 😕😞 He has been known to go to the extreme and eat a half gallon bag of nip. He has shared his addiction with our newest kitties. They are just as addicted now
Cats always seem to want to lay in the catnip. My brother had to put up a little cage to keep his cats from killing their catnip. Looks like yours has bounced back nicely for now.... 😼😼😸
😂 Yeah “for now”, key words! LOL
