RE: WE THE UNCIVILISED - DO WATCH THIS FILM!

Great post!
Thanks for using the ecoTrain tag but please do not use it in future. We use this tag to organise the ecoTrain and it makes it hard for us when others use it.
The ecoTrain tag is meant to indicate membership in the ecotrain group and is not a topic tag for general use.
Thank you !
The ecoTrain Conductor

arrgghhh i think i need a 'tagging lesson!' i have only just started using steemit... i want to share content that is useful to others and i have a very full time life... i.e. i don't spend time sifting through to be able to 'find' this info or get votes!! thanks for your reply being nicer than the last one i received....

Ok, so here´s your tagging lessson:
Click on your feed, to the left of "My feed" you will see some tags, then click on "View all tags".
There you will see the most important tags, also with their payouts. So choose as the first tag the one which describes your topic best and maybe also one with a higher payout because that means also that this tag is used often and more relevant than one with lower payout.
The tags you see there are all common tags or topic tags.
Now, you did four posts so far and with two posts you managed to use "reserved" tags, what are the chances of that? 😊
I guess you must have been reading posts which were tagged ecotrain and familyprotection, so you thought that´s a nice tag, applicable to my post.
While one commenter replied to you, that there is not such a thing as a reserved tag and that you could use what ever tag you wanted, and in a legalese kind of way he is right, there are groups on steemit like familyprotection and ecotrain which created their own tags to help them organize their feeds, and I would think it should be common sense and decency, netiquette and courtesy to not use those tags if you are a) not a member or b) not writing a post which fulfils the necessary requirements of them tags.
Now in your case we all understand that you just did an honest mistake and did not try to take advantage of them tags, so no hard feelings.
But since you are new to steemit, one final advise, there are those nasty little things called flags on steemit and as you can see in the comment section of the post you tagged family protection, there was already a bit of a flag war going on there.
Me personally I don´t like them flags, but they are a reality on steemit, so if us little guys step on the wrong toes, those big whales can ruin our reputation, for which we worked so hard, take all our rewards from posts and flag us into oblivion, that´s a bit like the "dark" side of steemit, that, like in real life, the guys with money can hurt the guys without money.
Ok, I rest my case! 😉
All the best for you, in life and on steemit!
